Out surfing again

Went surfing with my brother again today at Ohope Beach, Moko the local Dolphin was around again today but a little further off shore. No run today as the surfing was more than enough of a workout. I had forgotten how hard of a workout surfing is, all that paddling my arms and the rest on my body are feeling it tonight.

Awesome day out today started with two hours surfing in the morning on Wainui Beach in Gisbourne with not a cloud in the sky. Then we headed back to Ohope beach a two hour drive though the Matawai Gorge. Then decided to go for a 6km run with Claire and meet my Brother (Craig) down at ‘Westend’ on Ohope Beach. Upon arriving Craig was out surfing and enjoying the surf with Moko the local Dolphin.

Surfing in Gisborne

We headed over to Gisborne today with Craig (Brother) and his family it is a about a two hour drive from Ohope Beach. Went out for a surf around 18:30 for a few hours. Yes, I put Surfing down as training beacuse it knackers you but in a nice way.

In New Zealand for a break

We have arrived into New Zealand for a break with the family and a catch-up with the parents and the brother. Landing in New Zealand on my birthday the 18th January after stopover in Singapore, we headed straight down to Ohope Beach to my Parents home. Weather here has been perfect a nice 29.5c first day back and I was out surfing with my brother at 07:30 in just a pair of board shorts stark difference from the 30cm of snow we left in the UK. Glenn
